QuickHeic is created and maintained by an independent team of software engineers passionate about high-performance web utilities, modern WebAssembly, and client-side privacy. Based remotely across North America and Europe, our objective is to deliver dependable utility tools that work instantaneously without requiring user registration, desktop application installations, or subscription paywalls.

Our suite specializes in everyday image workflows: converting Apple HEIC/HEIF photos, modern AVIF and WebP graphics, SVG vector assets, and legacy JPEG/PNG formats. We focus on bridging compatibility gaps between mobile phones, desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), design platforms, email clients, and content management systems.

Unlike traditional online file converters that transfer your pictures to remote cloud servers to perform processing, QuickHeic executes conversions entirely inside your local web browser. By leveraging HTML5 Canvas, modern WebAssembly binaries, and background Web Workers, your image files never leave your device's memory.

This architectural model guarantees complete confidentiality. Personal photos, sensitive business receipts, client artwork, and confidential screenshots are never transmitted over the network or retained in server logs. Because zero network bandwidth is consumed uploading large image files, processing remains fast and impervious to server outages.
